Former president Donald Trump Thursday said he will not debate Kamala Harris again claiming that Kamala Harris was wanting another one because Trump claimed poll showed him as the winner. “When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, “I WANT A REMATCH.” Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate,” Trump posted on Truth Social two days after his first debate with Kamala Harris for the ABC news and second debate this election campaign.The first debate on CNN was between Trump and President Joe Biden. Biden’s dismal performance made him to opt out of the race though he said he believed that he had the best chance to defeat Trump.
Trump initially said he wanted to debate Kamala Harris on September 4 on Fox but Kamala’s campaign only agreed to the September 10 debate on ABC News. Apart from Fox and ABC, NBC and CBS too had proposed dates for future potential debates. After Tuesday’s debate in which Donald Trump faltered and Kamala Harris torched the former president, Trump said Kamala Harris immediately wanted a ‘rematch’. But at that time, he said he would think about it. “If you won the debate, I sort of think maybe I shouldn’t do it. Why should I do another debate?” Trump said. On Thursday, he confirmed that he would not debate Kamala Harris again.
Trump criticized ABC moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis and said it was a three against one debate as they both were on Kamala Harris side.
‘They need to stop f***ing around’
As Kamala Harris pitched for another debate, Donald Trump’s campaign said they need to stop f***ing around as Trump accepted three debates. Trump wanted to debate on Fox, ABC and NBC but Kamala Harris accepted only the ABC one which was previously agreed to by Biden and Trump, they said.
The ABC debate went in favor of Kamala Harris and her campaign’s communications director said that they certainly want another debate in October if Trump is willing to show up again.
