Former president Donald Trump said his wife Melania Trump often asks her to not use foul language in his speeches but Trump said it’s very difficult to duplicate certain words. On Friday as Trump, in his Pennsylvania rally, criticized Kamala Harris and said that everything she touches turns to s**t, he asked what could be a better word for s**t. “Every place she touches wouldn’t be nice.People would – that would be a thud. It would land with a thud,” Trump said explaining why he has to use the word ‘s**t’ in this particular statement.
Trump said evangelical leader Reverend Franklin Graham also wrote to him saying his speeches would be better if he does not use foul language. ““You might have heard this, Franklin Graham is wonderful and he wrote me a letter and he said, ‘Sir, I love your stories, and I love listening to your rallies, but could you please don’t use foul language? Your speeches would be even better if you didn’t use foul language’,” Trump said.
“No, and Franklin is probably right. I’m not sure I agree with him. But he’s a great guy, actually. But he did say that to me,” Trump said.
“My wife also, she says, ‘Please don’t use foul language.’ But it’s hard. You know, there’s some words that can’t be duplicated. They can’t. I try, but it can’t be duplicated,” Trump added.
Melania is mostly absent from her husband’s second presidential bid amid various speculations of she distancing herself from Trump, not wishing to return to White House if Trump wins etc. Melania will be publishing a memoir on October which already has become a bestseller. Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, meanwhile, made an explosive claim that Melania wants Kamala Harris to win the election.
