‘Ride hailing works even if…’: Elon Musk jokes as SpaceX will rescue Nasa astronauts

In a playful exchange on X, John Hanna, an investor in Tesla and SpaceX, humorously said that SpaceX had seemingly beaten Tesla to market with a ride-hailing service as the spacecraft is aiding NASA in bringing astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams back to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS). Elon Musk, the founder of Space X, responded with a witty remark about a potential Tesla-SpaceX collaboration, hinting that ride-hailing might even extend to space.
“Potential Tesla/SpaceX collab: ride hailing works even if you’re in space!” Musk responded to Hanna.

Despite ongoing legal and regulatory challenges, SpaceX is assisting NASA in returning both astronauts to Earth from the ISS, according to media reports.
People suggest name of Tesla and Space X collab
An X user also suggested a name of the potential collab of Space X and Tesla.
“Another first for Tesla/Space X -The SpaceX Taxi,” wrote an X user in the comment section.

Another X user said that Elon Musk’s companies are changing the world.

Astronauts’ extended stay
Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, originally on a one-week mission aboard Boeing’s Starliner since June, faced an extended stay on the ISS due to technical issues, including helium leaks and thruster malfunctions. Their return is now slated for no earlier than September next year via a SpaceX Crew-9 Dragon mission.
