Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reportedly threatened President Joe Biden that she would publicly trash him if Biden did not exit the presidential race. Though Pelosi maintained that she was not behind Biden’s exit, reports now claim that when Biden contracted Covid recently, Pelosi sent an urgent message to the president. Citing four sources, Daily Mail reported that the threat was clear that Pelosi would publish ‘brutal polling figures’ to back up her attack.
According to a New Yorkter report, Pelosi told Biden that the polls indicated he could not defeat former President Donald J.Trump in November, and that he would drag down Democrats’ chances of winning back control of the House. When he pushed back, claiming that he had seen data showing that he could win, she pressed him on what polls he was being shown. “Put Donilon on the phone,” she said, according to people familiar with the exchange. Mike Donilon is Biden’s close adviser since the 1980s.
Pelosi and Biden — long-time ally — have not spoken to each other yet.

Pelosi said she holds Biden in high regards and their relationship extends beyond politics — thy are a three generation fan of Joe Biden . “In our family, we have three generations of love for Joe Biden. My husband and I — of course, we’ve known him for a very long time — respect him, love him and Jill. He and Jill are so remarkable, and their family. Our kids have always loved them. I had pictures with him from our children growing up and now our grandchildren growing up,” Pelosi said in an interview with NBC.
On her present rancorous relationship with Biden, Pelosi said she loses sleep on it.

Reports said Biden is very angry with Pelosi because he thinks she was ruthless in showing him the door. But he does not disrespect Pelosi’s action and believes that she had to do this.
