Donald Trump on Thursday held a press conference after Kamala Harris campaign gained pace and in criticism of the Harris-Walz team, Trump said ‘we are close to World War’. In his first press conference in many days, Trump said America is very sick now and there are people who can’t handle things. Kamala Harris is worse than Biden and has no vote for the presidency, Trump said.”We are very close to a world war, in my opinion, and there are people that don’t know how to handle it. They are not respected…We have somebody who hasn’t received one vote for president and she’s running and that’s fine with me,” Trump said.
“We were given Joe Biden and now we are given somebody else. And I think I would rather be running against somebody else. But that was their choice. Kamala’s record is horrible. She is a radical at a level that nobody has seen. She picked a radical left man who has got things done…nobody has ever heard of those…” Trump said coming down heavily on the Dem tickets. “Kamala Harris is going to get worse, in my opinion,” Trump said.
‘Kamala was nasty to Biden’
Donald Trump said Kamala Harris was very nasty to Biden and still Biden chose her as the vice president. Trump wondered whether Biden regrets the decision. The presidency was taken away from Biden, Trump said. “I am no fan of Biden. But he had the right to run,” the former president said adding that it was pretty severe to take it away from Biden, “He (Biden) is very angry now. He is angry with Biden, crazy Nancy and all those who told him to go away,” Trump said. Kamala was the border czar but now she is refusing that she had to do anything with the border, Trump said.
Trump said Kamala can’t debate, she is barely competent but he is looking forward to the debates. Trump said he wanted to hold debates on Sept. 4 on Fox, Sept. 10 on NBC and Sept. 25 on ABC. He did not offer specific terms, such as whether there would be an audience, and it was not immediately clear whether his campaign had made a proposal to Harris’ camp.
After his address, Trump took questions from the reporters and said he has not yet recalibrated his campaign and will stick to the issues he stands by.
Trump’s emergency press conference was seen as a meltdown as Kamala-Walz campaign picked up but Trump said his rally crowds are not being properly reported by media.
