President-elect Donald Trump earlier said he would be inclined to release Epstein files — the court document in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein lawsuits. Trump’s confidante and DOGE co-chief Elon Musk shared a post that said: ‘The people want the Diddy & Epstein Files’ — adding a ‘yes’ on his part showing full support to the growing MAGA demand of pursuing both the cases of sexual misconduct to the end.

Several high-profile names surfaced in Epstein’s court documents including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Stephen Hawking, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution in 2008 and died but suicide in August 2019 in jail. The investigation against him began in 2005 after he was accused of paying a 14-year-old girl for sex. He was arrested in 2006. After his arrest, dozens of underage girls reported similar sexual abuse.
Donald Trump said he dissociated with Epstein when the investigation began but before that they were close friends. Epstein was a regular at Mar-a-Lago and they ‘shared’ girlfriends. Several such accounts linking Donald Trump and Epstein floated just ahead of the election.
Rapper Sean Diddy is also accused of facilitating prostitution, sex trafficking and sex racketeering. In jail since September, the rapper has pushed for his third appeal for bail and the ruling is awaited. Diddy’s trial will begin in May 2026. According to reports, Diddy case too has high-profile links and a list of celebrities who were conduit in Diddy’s sexual offence but none of the names has surfaced so far. The Conservatives believe the A-listers of Hollywood threw their weight behind Kamala Harris against Donald Trump to clear their names off Diddy list.
As former comedian Ellen DeGeneres and her partner Portia de Rossi left the US after Donald Trump’s win in the election, Elon Musk fueled a conspiracy theory that the real reason behind Ellen’s leaving the US was to escape from Diddy list.
