The re-election of Donald Trump in the US could spell trouble for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as Trump’s allegiance has always been to the late Queen. And the entire Trump family hate Harry and Meghan for their public criticism of the Royal family and their exit. Harry and Meghan, residents of California, have enough reasons to be unhappy over Donald Trump’s re-election. Meghan Markle, who is a US citizen, once called Donald Trump divisive and misogynist.
Coming to protection, Prince Harry has a visa issue in the US. A person involved in drugs is not granted US visa but Prince Harry was granted one in 2020 because he probably lied in the visa form. Two years later, he admitted to having drugs earlier — in his memoir Spare which dragged him into this case of whether the ex-royal was given extra privilege in the visa application.
Going by Donald Trump’s son Eric’s recent interview to DailyMail, no one in America cares about Prince Harry and his ‘unpopular’ wife Meghan Markle. “I don’t give a damn if he did drugs. It means nothing,” Eric said. But Donald Trump earlier this year commented on the issue specifically without suppressing his disapproval of Prince Harry. A teetotaller himself, Donald Trump earlier said, “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me”.
Trump also blamed the Biden administration for being “too gracious” to Harry.
Prince Harry acknowledged using cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms in his book but the Department of Homeland Security said he could have fabricated those information for the sake of the book.
Harry and Meghan have a plan B as well — though it’s not certain what they had in mind before they purchased a new house in Portugal — to flee the US or to flex their defiance near home (UK). According to the experts, Meghan will never shift her base to anywhere else as she has big Hollywood dreams which she is still pursuing despite losing her popularity every day.
