After Donald Trump sat with Joe Rogan for a three-hour interview, Trump’s running mate JD Vance is expected to record an interview with Rogan on Wednesday morning — at a time Rogan’s podcast with Vice President Kamala Harris went kaput. Joe Rogan said Kamala Harris’ team made several demands.
“They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” Rogan said in a statement on X, adding that the Harris campaign “has not passed on doing the podcast.”
Last Friday, Donald Trump sat for a three-hour, in-studio interview with Joe Rogan triggering speculation about whether Kamala Harris too would face Joe Rogan. Talks between the Kamala Harris campaign and the Joe Rogan team were at an advanced stage but Joe Rogan revealed that the Kamala Harris campaign wanted the interview only for an hour and they want Joe Rogan to travel with them — while Rogan prefers his studio. Rogan’s interviews are popular because of their long formats as he sits with his guests for hours allowing an in-depth and free-wheeling chat.
“My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being,” Rogan said of Harris. “I really hope we can make it happen.”
During Trump’s interview with Rogan, Rogan said he likes JD Vance a lot and appreciates his ability to speak like a normal person. And the JD Vance interview comes days before America goes to the election. According to the polls, Trump and Harris are tied in a very close race with some polls giving Kamala Harris a little margin, others keeping Donald Trump ahead — but both within the margin of error. The Republicans voted in a huge number in the early polling — more than last time.
