Four individuals, were killed including a child in a helicopter crash in Houston, Texas, on Sunday evening. The incident occurred around 7.54 pm local time when a private R44 helicopter collided with a radio tower in the city’s Second Ward, near the intersection of Engelke Street and North Ennis Street, just five minutes from Minute Maid Park, ABC news reported.
The helicopter, which is believed to have taken off from Ellington Field, struck the communications tower, causing it to collapse and ignite a fire in the vicinity. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among bystanders, and surrounding buildings remained unscathed, though both the helicopter and the tower were completely destroyed.
