A woman named Ashley Parham filed a complaint in the US District Court in Northern California on Wednesday, October 16, accusing rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of ‘gang rape.’
Parham said that the music mogul gang-raped her because she suggested that he was involved in the murder of his rival rapper Tupac Shakur. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, she said that the assault happened back in March 2018 in an Orinda apartment.
According to Parham’s lawsuit, she was lured into an apartment in Orinda, where she was drugged, threatened with a knife and sexually assaulted by multiple people. The lawsuit further claims that after everyone left, Combs allegedly assaulted her and threatened her life saying she might never see her family again, and later used a remote control to sexually abuse her.
Parham claims the incident occurred after a FaceTime call the previous month with Combs and another individual, during which she suggested the 54-year-old Bad Boy Record CEO was involved in Tupac Shakur’s death. Combs allegedly responded with a threat, saying she would “pay” for the comment.
Seeking $50 million in damages, Parham says she reported the incident to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office but claims her efforts for justice were ignored. The sheriff’s office confirmed receiving a report in 2018 but stated the accusations were deemed “unfounded” after an investigation.
Combs’ representatives have declined to comment on this matter
Responding to growing accusations, Combs’ legal team filed a federal court motion to reveal the identities of his accusers. His attorneys argue that the flood of lawsuits has created a media frenzy that risks depriving Combs of a fair trial.
The motion to identify accusers follows six new anonymous lawsuits against Combs, where the plaintiffs allege they were lured to lavish events under the guise of advancing their music careers and then abused. These cases are part of over 100 accusers preparing lawsuits, accusing Combs of years of coercion, violence, and sexual misconduct with the help of collaborators.
However, judges have ruled that Combs poses a community threat and should remain in custody.
Diddy has been in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since his September 16 arrest. He faces multiple charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. Among over 120 alleged victims is his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Diddy has pleaded not guilty, with his trial scheduled for May 5, 2025.
