Vem Miller, the armed man who was arrested outside Donald Trump’s Coachella rally on Saturday, claimed that he had no intention to shoot Trump and he is a supporter. However, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco asserted that they probably thwarted the third assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Amid reports that Vem Miller is a Trump supporter, former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy came under fire as a photo of him with Vem Miller surfaced.
In the purported photo, Vivek can be seen standing beside Vem Miller and smiling. As Vivek praised Elon Musk’s SpaceX achievement and compared Musk with Benjamin Franklin, social media users posted Vivek’s photo with Vem Miller and said it’s wild that Vivek said this is a 1776 moment but he’s acquainted with “Donald Trump’s apparent attempted assassin Vem Miller”. “What did you know and when did you know it,” one asked Vivek Ramaswamy.
Vem Miller is a 49-year-old registered Republican who was arrested on Saturday for his fake VIP credentials and he was arrested for possessing illegal firearms. His business partner claimed that he is a full-blown Trump supporter and the police mistook him as a would-be assassin.
Miller said he never used his firearms and does not even know anything about guns and kept his gun only for safety purpose. Calling himself a 100% Trump supporter, Miller said, “I’m an artist, I’m the last person that would cause any violence and harm to anybody,” he told the Press Enterprise, adding the accusations were “complete bulls***.”
He told DailyMail that while he’d supported Democrat Barack Obama in the past, thinking he would ‘save us from needless wars and censorship,’ he’s drifted rightward to libertarianism. But now he is a Republican.
Miller’s social media posts include videos at Republican events and selfies with pro-Trump media personalities popular among the alt-right, including Vivek Ramaswamy, Steven Bannon and Roger Stone. He even got up close to Donald Trump Jr. at one GOP event.
