NEW DELHI: Donald Trump is set to meet “fantastic” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will visit US to attend the 4th Quad summit scheduled to be held from September 21 to 23.
The meet comes amidst Trump-Harris campaign gains momentum for the November presidential elections.
Foreign ministry on Tuesday released the agenda of PM Modi’s visit, however, it did not include any meeting between the two leaders.However, it does say that he is expected to connect with thought leaders and other key stakeholders involved in the India-US bilateral relationship.
During PM Modi’s visit to the US in 2019, he and Trump exchanged mutual praise at the “Howdy, Modi!” rally in Texas, which was attended by over 50,000 people.

Following are the key agendas of the visit:
- PM Modi will address the Indian community on September 22 in New York.
- On September 23, he will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
- PM Modi will CEOs of prominent US-based companies to enhance collaboration between the two countries in advanced fields such as AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology.
Meanwhile, the release said that India has agreed to host Quad summit 2025.
A statement from the White House earlier noted that the Biden-Harris administration has prioritized elevating and institutionalizing the Quad, starting with the inaugural Quad Leaders Summit at the White House in 2021 and continuing with annual summits.
